  1. 1. Find the list in Your documents

The portal explains that VIDEX and any purpose questionnaire determine Your documents. You can save and add evidence gradually. Follow that personal list alongside the public format, page and size limits.

Make upload-safe PDF

The portal sometimes asks for an image-based PDF. Make upload-safe PDF creates a rasterised copy while keeping the original. Rasterising removes digital signatures; try a signed original first.

We cap each file at 10,000,000 bytes, a conservative reading of 10 MB. If a legible copy cannot fit, split the document.

Employment, Study and Family reunification lists are specific to the portal. Add each document the portal asks for; no authenticated purpose checklist is claimed here. Bring a biometric photo to the appointment; the portal does not require a photo upload.

Questions

Do document copies replace my originals?

No. Bring the original passport and evidence requested by your consulate. Prepared copies and print packs are convenience files; they are not official forms or a visa application.

Are these files guaranteed to be accepted?

No. File dimensions and size are only part of the requirement. The consulate or provider checks the photo, evidence and application. Check its current instructions.
