Official screenshots and examples

Current public Form I pages captured 8 October 2026. The requirements summary says 100 × 120 px / 20 KB; the blank photo and parent-signature fields say 50 KB JPG. Our child-photo export keeps the stricter 20 KB target. Check the live field before filing. No application was submitted to reach later document uploads.

  1. 1. Keep the child photo and parent signature separate

The current blank application has separate JPG fields for the child photo and parent signature. Both fields show 50 KB. The requirements summary has a stricter child-photo limit; our export follows that summary.

  2. 2. Read the current evidence list

The public list names the child’s birth certificate, both parents’ passports, relevant Indian citizenship certificate, marriage certificate and no-other-passport declaration. Its summary permits multi-page PDFs up to 1 MB. Read the actual document fields when your application reaches that stage.

The tiny child photo is its own JPG

The MHA's published Form I upload guidance specifies a JPG exactly 100 pixels wide and 120 pixels high, with a maximum file size of 20 KB. This is a digital upload size, not a physical print size. An OCI or Indian passport photo preset has different dimensions and should not be substituted.

The current blank photo and separate parent-signature fields say 50 KB JPG, while the public photo summary says 20 KB. TravelPrepKit retains the stricter summary target. Confirm the field when filing.

A small byte limit can blur an infant's face if a noisy original is compressed too aggressively. Start with a clear, evenly lit photo, review the automatic crop and adjust it if needed, then inspect the final JPG at its saved quality before download. File dimensions and bytes cannot prove the photograph will be accepted.

A 100×120-pixel file will look soft when enlarged on a screen. The Form I workbench shows a larger crop from the original, then displays the compressed upload file at its actual pixel size so you can judge each for what it is.

One readable PDF for each evidence upload item

The published Form I instructions allow multiple pages in a PDF and cap each PDF at 1 MB. The published guidance does not state a minimum PDF size or require A4 pages. Keep text, dates, stamps and QR codes readable after compression; a smaller file is not useful if the evidence cannot be read.

The public list requests both parents’ passports, the child’s birth certificate, the parents’ marriage certificate and relevant declarations. Match PDFs to the actual fields, combine only as instructed and follow each live limit.

What the preparation tool checks

  • Child JPG

The output is a decodable JPG with the exact 100×120-pixel frame and at most 20 KB. You review the final compressed image.

  • Evidence PDFs

You choose, order, rotate and remove pages per item; the tool prepares one PDF under the published cap and lets you preview the result.

  • Cost and scope

Prepare and preview free. In Choose downloads, pay only for the selected child photo and separately prepared evidence PDFs. Quantity and photo + PDF discounts apply to outputs bought together; you see the total before payment. Download one file directly or several as a ZIP. Repeat downloads are free while the purchased files are available.

  • Separate application steps

Already-ready items are your own unchecked statements. A file-size pass does not decide legal sufficiency. Parent signature preparation is outside this workspace; Quick resize also offers individual Form I photo and evidence-PDF presets.
