Passport photo maker online

Quick answer

A passport photo maker crops and resizes a real photograph to the dimensions and file size you need. TravelPrepKit offers published Indian application presets, or your own pixel and KB settings. Check your authority's current photo rules and review the result before downloading.

Choose the right passport photo size first

Passport photo requirements depend on the issuing authority and the application. An Indian passport photo, an OCI photo and an India e-Visa photo do not use the same shape and background. Use the relevant preset and source-linked guide for an Indian application.

For another authority, enter the pixel dimensions and file size it publishes under your requirements. Custom settings check your stated file specification; they do not certify that a country's passport office will accept the photo. If the authority restricts digital editing, follow those instructions and use an original photograph taken against the required background.

Start with a clear photograph taken at home

  • Use even light

Face the camera directly, keep the camera at eye level and avoid strong shadows. Start with a plain background appropriate to your application.

  • Leave space around your head

Include your head, shoulders and enough background to crop. Avoid a tightly cropped selfie or a small image forwarded repeatedly through messaging apps.

  • Review the finished crop

Check framing, eyes, expression, glasses and background against your authority's rules. File format and size checks cannot decide every requirement about a person.

  • Use your real appearance

The tool prepares the photograph you supply. It does not generate a new face, change your identity or promise government acceptance.

Passport photo generator, maker or resizer?

People use these names for the same preparation task: turning a photograph into a passport-size file. Here, generator means preparing a JPEG from your existing photograph. It does not mean synthesising a person or replacing a real passport photo with an invented portrait.

Photo preparation happens on your device without uploading the photograph for processing. Checking and previewing are free, and the prepared download is paid. Optional saved-file or device-transfer choices are covered by the privacy notice. See Pricing before purchasing a download.

Questions

Can I make a passport-size photo from a phone picture?

Yes. Use a clear, recent photo taken in even light, then choose the application preset or enter the dimensions your authority requires. Review the prepared crop and all appearance requirements before submitting it.

Does this passport photo generator create an AI face?

No. It crops, resizes and compresses your real photograph. It does not invent a face or change your identity.

Does one photo size work for every passport or visa?

No. Sizes, backgrounds and appearance rules vary. TravelPrepKit's published presets cover Indian applications; other requirements can be entered as your requirements and checked against your authority's instructions.

Can I resize an Indian passport photo to 630×810 pixels?

Yes. The Indian passport preset prepares a 630×810-pixel JPEG. Its guide provides the official source, framing guidance and the distinction between the preparation file-size target and the live portal's limit.

Is the passport photo download free?

Checking and previewing are free. Review and purchase the prepared photo. Guest checkout is available for one person. A free account is required for two or more people. Repeat downloads of the same available purchased output are free.

Can I make a passport photo without uploading it to a server?

Yes. TravelPrepKit prepares files on your device without uploading them for processing. Optional account saving and device transfers are separate choices. Use your authority's requirements and review the final result.
