Photo resizer: exact pixels and a KB limit

Quick answer

TravelPrepKit resizes photos to your chosen pixels, millimetres or inches and compresses them to your KB limit on your device. Keep the original background or choose white or off-white. Enter your portal’s requirements and review the result; custom settings are not government verification.

Questions

Which numbers can I set?

For a photo: dimensions in pixels, millimetres or inches, an exact file-size limit, and the original, white or warm off-white background. For a PDF: page size (A4, US Letter or original) and an exact file-size limit.

Does it check faces and backgrounds too?

Custom settings check the numbers you enter: format, pixel size and file size. For an Indian application, use its published specification instead, which checks the face and background as well.

Is it private?

Yes. Resizing, compression and background preparation run on your device. Selected files stay on your device; optional account saving and device transfers are separate choices.

Can I compress a photo to 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB or 300 KB?

Enter the maximum KB your upload permits under your own requirements. TravelPrepKit checks the prepared JPEG against that cap; the file may be smaller than the limit you enter. These are your selected targets, not universal visa rules. If a clear photo cannot fit, use a better original or review your portal's permitted alternatives.

Does changing DPI make a photo the right size?

DPI relates pixels to print size; it does not by itself crop the image or guarantee a KB limit. Enter the required dimensions and file-size cap, then check the finished JPEG. For an online upload, follow the pixel dimensions your portal gives.
